Our community represents nine districts covering more than 631 square miles. Established in August 1971, Houston City College is one of the largest community colleges in the United States, offering associate degrees and certificates in academic studies, as well as career and technology programs. HCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees.
